Roderick H. Martin
Roderick H. Martin has been practicing bankruptcy law for 30 years in Georgia. Rod graduated from the University of Wisconsin and received his law degree from the Georgia State University College of Law. He teaches Bankruptcy Law in the Kennesaw State University Paralegal certificate program, and frequently lectures on bankruptcy matters to other lawyers. He is active in his church, legal community and civic organizations.
Jackie Morris
Jackie joined Martin Law in 2005 as a Paralegal in bankruptcy law. She has since expanded her duties to include debt settlement negotiations with collection agencies and law firms. She is responsible for preparation of Chapter 7 & 13 schedules for filing, due diligence matters, management of client records and handling of client funds. She formerly worked for the long-established Powder Springs firm of Charles M. Morris (no relation) in the capacity of a personal injury paralegal.
Sheila Quay
Sheila is a Certified Paralegal and has been a member of our team since 2006. She focuses on serving our bankruptcy clients after their case has been filed with the court. Sheila is also responsible for directly negotiating with bankruptcy trustees and creditor law firms, and for preparing Mr. Martin’s cases for hearings. Sheila graduated from the prestigious Kennesaw State University Paralegal program. Prior to joining our firm Sheila worked for the respected bankruptcy law firm of James Pilcher for over four years, thus giving her more than 20 years experience in bankruptcy law.
Blue
Blue joined Martin Law in 2020 during the Coronavirus pandemic. She is a 2-year old purebred Bluenose with a happy demeanor who loves to interact with her human co-workers. Blue is responsible for giving affection to others, and she is also happy to receive as much as she gives!
